Our last Youth Group meeting was led by our First and Second Year Confirmation Directors. They did an astounding job sending out the message that God’s door is always open, hence His name: GOD- God’s Open Door. All we must do is knock. Ask Him and we shall receive. The basic idea they tried to address was God is forever giving His 50% in our relationships so it only makes sense for us to give our 50%.
(This theme derived from Luke 11:9-10)Not only were the discussion and realizations amazing but it was absolutely phenomenal seeing our Youth Center filled with so many people. It wasn’t exactly the subject of quantity but it was a matter of seeing all these faces willing to learn about themselves, their faith, and their God. It was genuinely a beautiful thing.
We will be having another Youth Group Meeting this Sunday from 3:30-5pm (March 27) and we hope that you can come on by to learn something new! Bring a friend, an enemy, anyone you know. Our door, like God’s, is always open.
